NOMINATED FOR THE WATTSPADDING READERS CHOICE AWARDS Seven Months follows two scarred souls on opposite sides of Nigeria's most brutal war. Obianuju, once a quiet student in Zaria, survives a massacre that takes her sister's life and leaves her permanently injured. Haunted by loss, silenced by trauma, she returns to the East to find her home changed and her future hijacked. When war is declared, she forms a rebel cell-not for glory, but for vengeance. Salisu, the son of a northern civil servant killed in the January 1966 coup, watches his family fall apart under the weight of grief and betrayal. Unable to heal or forgive, he enlists in the military, fueled by rage and duty. But as the war drags on, his reasons begin to blur. Set between June 1969 and January 1970, Seven Months is a powerful tale of identity, pain, and survival in a country at war with itself. Through shifting loyalties and buried truths, Obianuju and Salisu confront not only their enemies-but everything they've been told to believe. 🏆Awards🏆 Best Prologue in The Blazing Verse Awards 🥉3rd Place in Best Prologue in the Nine Tailed Awards

What's worse than being ejected, rejected, abducted, and subjected to face a strange world by one's father? For some, it means death, for others, it means a fate far worse than death. When Emeka's father throws him out because of a frivolous suspicion of his mother, his world turned upside down. This created a question mark that has come to be his identity. So he spends his entire life searching for his own meaning which always eludes. Regardless of the odds against him, he is ready to fight tooth and nail to survive. The story carefully but critically exposes not just the current realities of the deep-rooted almajiri system in northern Nigeria but several relatable experiences.

After she's finally allowed to attend a boarding school with her brother, Nwaokoli Vanessa has to go through the struggles of adapting away from home and also adapting to her crush's cold-hearted nature. With a lot of drama on the line for a girl that barely had any drama in the past, will she be able to pull through while making the right decisions also? This novel is a regular high school life storyline with the ups and downs of life and betrayal. Throw in a little bit of depression and anger issues and the most reoccurring problem teenagers have -which is not being understood. I started writing this novel while in boarding school, my last days actually, and it was like a coping mechanism for me cause I felt like I was going crazy and no one was understanding me. I poured all that into this novel and I began to feel okay. So to all teens and young adults out there that feel like no one gets them or knows what they feel, calm down, take a deep breath, and stop overthinking. Find something you love doing and put your energy and steam into it.

Chizaram's life is simple. There are only three things that matter to her. Number one is her Family, which is also the most important. Number two is the not very strict, not very adhered rules that her parents have put in place for her and her siblings And number three, trying her best to be a good person to everyone around her despite the blatant rudeness of the people in her life. When things around her begin to change she is forced to see that sometimes families separate, and rules are just things that tell us how to live our lives and sometimes we end up doing more harm than good to those we intend to help. Sometimes doing good things doesn't make us good people, just like doing bad things doesn't make us bad people. Life is no more black and white...at least to her not anymore. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° This is a work of fiction. Sometimes things you see with the eyes aren't always the reality, What you hear aren't always the truth and sometimes too the people you think you know best are the people you don't know at all. "So....I heard you just came back from America." I heard a voice that sounded too similar to mine and i mentally face-palmed myself for even talking. Yh". He nodded curtly eating his food. "I'm sorry to say but your accent doesn't sound like one from America since you claimed to have being there since you're a kid." I said making Tiwa, Tej and Zoya to look at me. Maybe mean but i want him gone from this table. "So?" was all he said looking at me with his brow raised. "So......I was expecting atleast a better accent or....... No disrespect but you don't even look rich" I said in total. "That's because i'm not." He retorted. "And you claim to be the son of Thomas Eze the owner of C&C enterprise." I scoffed. Something flickered in his eyes at the mention of his father but it was gone as soon as it appeared making me wonder if i had imagined it. My father is rich, i'm not." He said. "That doesn't make any sense if you ask me........." "And i didn't, did i?" He cut me off rudely. "No but........." "Look here pretty girl, you seems to have done your home work on me or should i rather say class work since it isn't even closing yet and you already know this much about me". WHAT!?
