Max, an average girl, goes to school on her first day of her senior year. She meets some kids at the school. When they become friends drama strikes between her and a guy in her group, Fang. Max says to stay away from certain people in the school, but Fang goes and befriends with one of them. He ignores everything she says about them. Trouble happens and feelings change.

Max, Fang, their daughter Phoenix and the Flock have finally made new lives for themselves, living safe and happily in caves. Suddenly everything that was ever a threat to the flock comes back to mess it up, sending the flock right back to Nevermore island. With Nino wanting Max to join him, Erasers on their tail and the increasing want to stop and make a home out something, how can they survive?
