Elizabeth and her dear husband Brandon were breathing heavily on the bed, after hours of making love, they finally broke apart. after gaining a little sense, Brandon stood up and walked into bathroom closing the door behind, after exactly five seconds she heard the shower running, it was there daily routine, Brandon would come home, eat and bed her every night before showering and then working on his laptop or sleeping right away, no talking, no cuddling, nothing. That was how it worked for them, they were partners in bed and strangers outside the bed, Elizabeth sighed sadly and closed her eyes as a tear escaped her eye and then another, every night she would tell herself to fight him the next day but every single she ended like this, so vulnerable and pathetic, the feeling of her heart clenching and her lungs screaming for air was so normal for her, she pressed her palm on her mouth to not make any noise as a sob escaped her mouth, her eyes widened as she heard the shower go off, she wiped her tears and closed her eyes as if sleeping.
