Everything was normal. Everyone was living their own lives, with no contests, no challenges, and no reason to worry. Until one day, Gelatin dies. Everyone thinks it will be okay. The HPRC has always brought people back before. But this time... it doesn't work. Now everyone is looking at Golf Ball for answers. They trust her to fix the machine, because they believe she can solve anything. But with every failed attempt, the pressure gets heavier. Can Golf Ball fix the HPRC before something worse happens? Or will the stress of being everyone's only hope become too much?

The story of how a genius (me, yes me, the writer) found something he genuinely sucks at, and how that same thing slowly shifts his perception on life. This isn't a good story... ...Or....Or is it? uh... welcome to my book filled with... this. I haven't really gotten to write any "evil" characters because I accidentally turned all of them into morally ambiguous anti-heroes so you'll see a lot of that here.
