The lights were bright, as if I was in a rocket heading towards the sun. There was no time to blink because in 10 seconds blinking wouldn't matter. It didn't matter because I didn't know where I was. First thing I knew I was sitting in the car with Zack then next thing I knew I was 50 feet from the car. Where is Zack? I started to think. Is he OK? Then I heard sirens they made me remember everything. That's when I realize nothing would be the same again. I couldn't move my legs but my arm is worked. It made no sense at the time. But as I started to heal and grieve Zack I realized I would never walk again. I am Katie brown and this is how I fell in love.

Some of you know me as the girl who wears the beanie all the time and is always getting swarmed by other kids for no reason. Yeah. That's me when I'm not at school, therefore not surrounded by other kids in my gifted program who are the smartest people in the world and always make you feel insecure. I love it when I am surrounded by my passion or things I like where everyone is equal. I love Stage Dreams a lot better than my school plays where if you don't get a lead part you have to sit on the risers till your butt hurts so bad you need a crutch to get up. And the people totally ignore you if you don't have a part as big as theirs. And the director is really mean so that doesn't help. But Stage Dreams is different and better. For starters it's an official production, and I actually was in the newspaper because of one of the productions I was in! And people don't judge other people because of their parts. I absolutely love it and hope I get big parts in all of them bc I <3 acting!!!!!!
