Raven is from a long line of witches, not that it helps much in a world where you're condemned by both humans and monsters. This troubled teen burnt down her human high school and barely managed to escape a grilling at pyre. But instead of a peaceful albeit short-leashed few semesters at an academy of monsters that barely accepted her, she now has to contend with a secretive enemy that lurks in the dark corners of her classrooms, a very talkative roommate who keeps getting the floors wet, and what seems to be a slowly forming friend group she'd rather avoid. (Excuse the horrible writing and plotline, it was three a.m. and I had too much caffeine in my system. If it's well received might continue, but will probably delete.
