STARTER BOOK

(Cover art by yours truly- I know it's Pidge and Matt, but it's basically the same thing. I may focus on Pidge a little as well. This may not be entirely focused on solely the reader.) A (kinda) songfic (at least in the beginning) based off of the song 'Ikanaide'. In English, this means 'don't go away yet.' "I'll miss you," (Y/n) chokes out, their hands shaking while griping onto their lover's shirt. "I'll miss you too," Shiro whispers solemly, pulling them into a tight embrace and burying his face into the crook of their neck. "But I promise, I'll come back to you. I promise." Shiro pulled away, looking (Y/n) in the eyes one last time before having to turn away, helmet in hand, walking towards the docking pad. /Couldn't do a thing but stare without a sound./ He promised. He promised he'd come back. He promised he'd be careful. /Eyes getting wet, don't be upset, but my heart really wants to cry/ So why did the ship crash? Why did he break his promise? Even if the Garrison lied about why they lost contact with the ship, why hadn't he come back? /Don't Go Away Yet./

Jamie is a boy with strict interests and ideals. There is no room for the impossible or whimsy in his mind. However, that does not stop a scientist from devising a way to "resurrect" his dead daughter as a robotic being and life from weaving a web of confusing problems for both human and machine. Jamie, being forced to accept Alice the Robot into his drab life, sets about the task of concealing her from a government of war-hungry, corrupt slaves to fear. (Pending story: Third in line after M is for Melody and Courtyard of Shattered Glass. After those two stories are done, this will continue.)
