Shinji Ikari. By all accounts, he is just a regular boy who by day, pilots the massive Eva Unit 01. A lonely introvert who struggles to socialise with anyone and everyone while carrying a deep-seated resentment for his Father after being abandoned by the man a week after his Mothers death. However, when night comes around and he settles off to sleep, he transforms into the unstoppable Agent 7. Unfortunately for him, he's about to learn that his dreams are very real, and they come with consequences.

Shinji thought he had killed him. In the inhuman silence of the Eva,as his heart shattered again and the world was once more collapsing around him: he had pulled the trigger on the only light he'd ever known. Or so he believed. But when he wakes up in a Tokyo-3 suspended between quiet and ruin, something feels..off. A presence. A familiar voice. A melody he never truly forgot. And when he sees him again-alive, real, standing there-it's not a dream. It's the chance they were never allowed to live. In a world that turned them into weapons and buried their feelings beneath duty and silence, Shinji and Kaworu try to build something fragile, but real: A connection. Maybe something almost...romantic. This is the story of what could have been- but more importantly, of what, against all the obstacles, can still be.
