Daron has known Nichole since he was a little kid; they grew up in the same neighborhood together in Los Angeles, California, growing closer as they got older. Although they attended different high schools, they still hung out with each other whenever they got the chance. Now it's 2002, they're both 26, still in Hollywood, living completely different lives, and as close as they ever were. While Nichole goes out to work as a part-time art director, and bookkeeper, Daron is out releasing hit album, after hit album, under the band name 'System Of a Down', with his friends Serj, John, and Shavo. A band Nichole had gotten to watch grow into an empire over the years. But little to Nicholes' knowledge, Daron has secretly been madly in love with her for years; however, he is too nervous to ever tell her that he likes her more than a friend.
