These are all scenes and write-ups about Patroclus! My main character for my new Greek Retelling of the Iliad. This will be a stand-alone and will tell the epic from a perspective like no other. From someone who grew up hearing about the heroes and gods from story books to becoming a character in one of their myths. Yet he is largely looked over and written off to benefit his counterpart; Achilles. This is Patroclus' story and his opportunity to prove it.

Hey folks! This here is an abridged retelling of The Iliad by Homer. This is actually my method of note taking, so stay tuned for updates. Book 1 is only half complete and I still need to do book 6. The Iliad (sometimes referred to as the Song of Ilion or Song of Ilium) is an ancient Greek epic poem in dactylic hexameter, traditionally attributed to Homer. Set during the Trojan War, the ten-year siege of the city of Troy (Ilium) by a coalition of Greek states, it tells of the battles and events during the weeks of a quarrel between King Agamemnon and the warrior Achilles. The Iliad is paired with something of a sequel, the Odyssey, also attributed to Homer. Along with the Odyssey, the Iliad is among the oldest extant works of Western literature, and its written version is usually dated to around the 8th century BC. Recent statistical modelling based on language evolution gives a date of 760-710 BC.

Decided to find out the secret of the school, Odysseus will use all his cunning and his skill to be always in trouble... especially if to being in trouble is Tyndareus' niece.... A modern play version of the Iliad by Homer. This is mostly accurate to the story, but it is written with humility, it is evident to me that this is not a theft of Homer's masterpiece but an homage to it, this text lacks the monotonous elements of the Iliad and focuses only on the more interesting aspects of the play.
