Asher Thornburn, a 16-year-old Evoker Illager, who lost his father Thord and his mother Natalie during the Arch-Illager's reign, is traveling around to hunt Archie down and take him head-on in a battle, needing a place to stay for the night, he comes across a village called Squid Coast where he meets some unlikely enemies and friends.

Among the many mobs in the world of Minecraft, one species is seemingly way more advanced then others. This species are known as "Players", and contain the power of gods in them, though many prefer not to utilize this power. As such, Players are an endangered species. Only one is known to be left, and she still has much to learn. Sarah was found as a baby by a gang of Illagers. They were fascinated by the small creature, and brought it to there leader, whom adopted the child as his own. One day, the leader grew sick, leaving Sarah as the head of the Illagers. She quickly proved to be everything the previous leader was capable of, and more. Before long, she was crowned a queen. However, despite this success at life, Sarah finds herself feeling empty, knowing she is the last player... Or is she?
