It's been two months since her dad's death. It's been two months since her entire life was flipped upside down. It was the McMillin's first day of high school in their new town. Illi was going into her senior year, while her brother Mikey was starting as a freshman. Both were severely rattled by this incident, but they showed it in different ways. Mikey is trying his very best to make his father proud, while Illi has come to the conclusion that nothing good ever lasts long. She thought a new identity would help her, but her mother isn't taking this change so well.

Illi McMillin is a photographer who's working on taking pictures for bands as a gig, she breaks her lense at Frank Ieros Leathermouth basement show and they form a connection.

Illi, a trans girl in the twelfth grade, is Barrington high's newest student. But she wasn't completely new to the town, no. She had lived there beforehand, and came back to everybody she used to know, the only difference is, she's no longer a guy.
