(I'm not a middle schooler anymore lol) If you've ever wanted to snoop in someone's diary but was too decent a person to go though with it, I've got you. ( 2016 me::: so...yea this is a story about me and my weird self i don't really belive anyone will want to read it but i feel like doing it sorry if updates are inconsistent or random but I honestly can't remember to for things day to day so sorry ahead of time ) (Spoiler/ I updated it a bunch in 2016 then left it to rot lol) cover photo was taken by me. (// Under Mild Construction//) This was a short diary I occasionally kept in middle school. I'm going back and doing mild revisions and possibly adding a few updates. Warning--- I thought I was an edgy kid when as it turns out, I was a walking cringe meme. Sincere apologies. Enjoy.

Lorelei is a timid, passive mermaid princess of Baltica, a tiny merfolk kingdom in the cool, brackish Northeastern Ocean. Nixie, her beautiful Tailmaiden(or in human terms, handmaiden), hides a humiliating secret. This is the tale(tail?) of two very different mermaids, told in alternating perspectives. A loose retelling of The Goose Girl by the Brothers Grimm with mermaids, set in the same whimsical and detailed mermaid universe as Kae-Leah Williamson's previous novellas, but it can be read as a stand-alone. Formerly Known As "A Tailmaiden's Tale"

Have you ever imagined how an illiterate could feel? How powerless he was? How humiliating it would be to be on of the unfortunate people? What if in the same time, you were deaf and partially blind? What if the time period you were born in didn't have the hearing technologies that we have today? What if you were marginalized by the society you lived in? Wouldn't you do anything to be able to communicate again? Wouldn't you be willing to kill to have a normal life?

One Day is a collection of amateur poems written by an illiterate 19 year old from the east coast. It covers many themes from depression to global warming. It's an escape from reality and mainly just some rants from the inner workings of my brain. I hope someone enjoys this.

Take note: © All rights reserved. No one is allowed to copy anything -phrases, paragraphs or the whole story idea- from my story. © I was feeling love for a man that was not my father. Love that was so different from the one I used to feel. Love for someone whom I just met. Whose name I do not even know. But I knew one thing for sure, he was the one for me. This was so new to me. The realization just dawned on me but I never stopped playing. As I continued to play, I saw a twinkle in his eyes, like the stars in the dark sky. His name was Nicholas Richardson.
