There are Dreamers and Tormenters. People who's dreams are real, as well as everything in them. There are the Carriers, people who can bring others to their dreams with them. Bridges, who can take things from their dreams into the real world. Illusionists, people who can enter and alter the dreams of others. And Tormenters, the creators of nightmares, and enemies of the Dreamers. And then there's Reve, the first Composite in ten years.She has the powers of a Carrier, Bridge, and Illusionist. A mixture of a Dreamer and Tormenter, destined to become only one on her eighteenth birthday. Her dreams show which direction she's headed, and so far it looks like she's going to be a Dreamer. Then her dreams take a startling turn. They turn dark. They turn into nightmares. She meets Ash, a mysterious boy in her dreams who doesn't know how he ended up there. He's not a Projection, a person created by Reve's dream, but he doesn't seem to be a real human either...

Valeria was living a pretty normal life-if that's what she wanted to call it-before one day. While she was out with her friends exploring abandoned buildings, they find a wooden plank bolted to the floor. And by dumb, sheer luck, and their teen brains, they all decide to stand on the plank and try to break it. When it snaps, it's not what they expected. It wasn't a small ditch, but another realm of sorts.

~~~~~~~ I can feel his warm breath on the back of my neck making my body lean closer into him. I push my wolf back down in attempt to see what he had just said. Wait what? I try to get down so I can go bring the horse back to Alexandra, but as I do Jason's hands come around my waist gripping them making me stay in place. A shiver goes down my spine and I can't fight my wolf back down this time she was at the surface. Since I just got her back I forgot how hard it was to keep her at bay and I've been out of practice for a year. I feel my body relax and my back rest's up against his chest. The heat and sparks fly through my body bringing nothing but joy. I can hear his heart beat intensify and hear his breaths quicken as I turn toward him, placing my hand on his face and look into his bright blue eyes that have changed from the state they were in earlier. Meaning his wolf was in control as well. He takes one hand off my waist and brings it up to the hand I had on his face. With more skin to skin contact from his body she can't help but press us closer. That's when Jason picks me up by my hips and places me backwards in the saddle so I'm now straddling him in a sense. Our chest are glued together and our faces close enough to touch. I felt closer and the farthest away from him at the same time. At this point I'm screaming on the inside for my wolf to stop and slow down. We don't even know him. She wont listen. And as seconds go by I forget why I wanted her to stop us in the first place. ~~~~~~~
