Spain, 1897 A revolution erupts at the midsts of the Spanish colonization in the Philippines, and Anastacio Salvador, an illustrado, plans to return to his leper brother from Spain. But after receiving letters from an anonymous person about threatening his brother's life and forcing him to pay an unknown debt, he stops all his plans on returning to his motherland. Determined to solve this with the help of his Spanish friend, he makes sure to end this case quickly before the revolution rises and becomes a war.
