Nightmares don't just happen in the dark, but in this story, they do. A female from the Court of Nightmares ends up mixing with the Inner Circle. WARNING: Sexual assualt (mild non-consensual groping) This is a mess, first 3 chapters having been written months before the rest of it, apologies for the messy plot and flip flopping characters. Please read my other stories instead. No seriously read this with a pinch of salt, it is seriously not my best written work... like I've written better essays about books I've never read at 2 in the morning cause I procrastinated for school.

The Inner Circle is worried about the young heir. She is a young fae who knows how to take care of herself. But they all think that she is a little too adventurous. She keeps sneaking out at night. She was seen one night by her father and he wanted to approach her but Feyre stopped him. Why was she sneaking out? Why was she not telling anyone? Was she in trouble? These questions swirled around Rhysands mind.

Rhysand is the son of the High Lord of the Night Court. His mother knows he will be hunted every day of his life. In an effort to give him the tools he needs to survive, she brings him to the Illyrian war camp to train. There he learns the skills that turn him into a fearsome warrior, but he also meets other outcast Illyrians... though it is a long time before they become friends.

A while back I had a dream about a few Illyrian females running away and starting their own warband in the woods, being all badass and stuff. I decided I didn't want to wait until SJM had published silver flames to see if there was such a thing, and just write a fanfic. English is not my first language. Aside from a smutty fanfic I have never written fanfic before. Im 100% open to feedback and tips, but please be nice.

Azriel, the great shadow singer, has an Illyrian female in his apartment... what will happen when Loraina meets the rest of the Inner Circle? This is based after acowar and acofas, its just a little side story of the Inner Circles adventure making a new friend. Swearing is included so sorry bout that.

Written from the POV of Azriel from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series, the reader experiences a somewhat brief story of his childhood from his lonely time in his father's camp to meeting Rhysand and Cassian and performing the blood rite.
