So, I'm trying something a little different with this new installment in the series, and I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea. As much as I adore M/M, I've always wanted to throw my hat into the very small pool of Female!Shane/Male!Ilya stories. I've also been itching to write the actor!Shane trope for quite some time, so I finally decided to combine the two. Another reason I wanted to write this fic is that, while I absolutely love exploring Shane's Japanese heritage, I realized I've been neglecting Ilya's Russian heritage throughout this series. I wanted to give that side of him more attention here and explore it in a way I haven't before. I really hope you'll give it a chance, and if you do, I'd love to hear what you think. Four years after their messy breakup, Shane Hollander posts a birthday photo of a little girl. The hockey world quickly realizes the little girl has Shane's freckles, Ilya Rozanov's face-and is exactly the same age as the years since they broke up.

A fanfiction of the game "The Arcana", mainly focusing on my character, Fayeth, and Julian's story (but I can't promise you that nothing will happen between her and other characters ;). Davids little sister bailee has been through a lot. she moved out to LA when she was 20 because she no longer felt safe in Chicago which meant leaving her highschool sweetheart and best friend Ilya. She and Ilya stayed friends through it all. 2 years later things change ......

Appra, Julian's apprentice apothecary, is alone in the study one night when furious knocking at the door disturbs their sleep. With Julian off to a nearby hospital, they're the only person available with enough medical knowledge to help one of Count Lucio's pets, who's recently fallen sick. Upon arriving at the palace, Appra meets Muriel, Lucio's right hand, and is told about the unfortunate circumstances that befell his late wife, the Countess Nadia, and of her fugitive killer, Asra the magician. Lucio seeks revenge for the murder of his wife and is sure that Asra is to blame. Obligated to help, Appra must now not only seek out the magician but gain the truth and his confession with it.

Ilya gets word about Shane's involvement with Rose Landry. If it's really over between him and Shane, Shane better have the guts to say it to Ilya's face. But Ilya won't make it easy.
