There were three conditions: name-drop a bunch of math terms, solve some problems, and make the protagonist a "magical, mystical, geometric shape" (my teacher's words, not mine). I was far too excited about this project, so while a lot of kids wrote "Sphere goes to the library and looks up definitions for geometry homework", I ended up writing "Octahedron uses the power of math and archeology to fight through a dystopian world and save the energy sources of its dying society".
