In the midst of the fight for survival against the Grimm (foul beasts, monsters), which would later be known as the War, there was a village with a girl named Risper. Will this fox-girl survive the War, or even her unhealthy interest in her brother? And what exactly is her sister doing with her uncle? Is her father hiding something from her? Will her brothers ever stop fighting? Guess you'll have to find out. Meanwhile, another Risper is born in a laboratory... Just what is going on? Okay, so. This is a sort-of-fanfic of RWBY (by Roosterteeth, you should really check it out if you haven't already), and it's also my first story I've published ever (not true, I've published another story on WattPad... But first story I wrote without being forced to by school or something). All commentary is welcome, but it would be nice if it's not just hate. (E.g. "This sucks because on line 7 you said 'your' instead of 'you're'" instead of just "This sucks" please~ Thanks! ^-^) And... Enjoy, I guess. Yeah, that. Also, I make lots of time-leaps. That's my thing. Better get used to it. Maybe this is another thing I should mention... This is not one story. It's actually two stories. Maybe I'll make it three later on, maybe even four. The First Birth is the start of the first story, and the Second Birth is the start of the second story, and so on. Though maybe I'll make them separate stories if this gets too confusing... For now, I'll do it this way. Feedback on this is nice. Also, comments might influence the story.

Jodie Jackson is a normal, teenage girl. Or, at least, she wants to be. Orphaned with her siblings when she was a child, Jodie had grown up with a self-made ideal since then: don't be special. Her parents had been lucky, cherished people until it seemed they hit the end of their bright road and never came back. What she thought was the problem: they had been too perfect. The homicidal maniac after them even said so. So, to keep what's left of her family intact and safe, Jodie lives what she calls a "normal" life-working and growing with her brothers, raising the youngest, going to school with friends. Planning out a normal future, living in the moment while making sure nothing's wrong, even though she had grown tired of living a boring way of living long ago. Then, she gets a taste of something impossible, and she lets go of her normal life. But she didn't realize until it was too late, that her plan couldn't keep her safe anymore. And she was swept away from her loved ones, before she could even think- -to another world. And that's where her adventure begins, a roaming life as she finds her place in this new world. ~ ~ Okay, let's get things started *rubs hands together* I hate it when people have short little descriptions like that, but if I write anything more it takes away the mystery, does it not? Uhm, as the author, I am not sure how to describe this story, but it has potatoes, UFO's, bowling, watermelon, Irish-folkdancing, a town in Quebec named Idiotville, and almost no storyline. ALMOST.
