Lord Elrond suffered a great loss years ago when his wife was killed by Orcs, never fully recovering from it. Years pass and still he refuses to fall in love. However times are changing and a mortal woman, named Adair, comes to Rivendell along with Aragorn and the rest of the Company after being injured from an ambush and in need of Elrond's help. Time goes on and Adair stays behind, still healing, while the newly formed Fellowship moves on. Adair seeks the company of Elrond, and they become fast friends. However, they find themselves slowly falling for each other. WIll Elrond go against everything he believes in and fall for a mortal? Or will he walk away, never knowing what could have been? (Note: None of the characters accept for Adair belong to me. They belong to J.R.R. Tolkien. Also, I know Elrond's wife didn't die, but for the purpose of this fan fiction she did.)

Aragorn and Legolas meet for the first time. Aragorn is in his early twenties and nearly gets killed when he ignores his adopted father's good advice. Legolas finds him, but must fight the demons of his past in order to help the young human. This is the sixth story in the Mellon Chronicles.

Míryalinda, whose name means "beautiful singer", is a Shield-maiden of Rivendell. After being sent by Lord Elrond to find Estel, or Strider, she becomes caught up in a chain of events that could change her life. Deciding to join the fellowship after learning that Middle Earth's fate as well as her own are in the balance, will she succeed and find love along the way, or does fate have other plans? *This is in first person, though I plan to rewrite this one day (but it is not this day!) When I do, I'm thinking of third person. Raised by a woman in a small village, she had never seen an elf other than herself. Yet, when she runs in the path of two identical elves and tragedy strikes once more, things start to change fast. She had never realized how little she knew about herself, and more so, why can she see the beautiful blue-stoned ring upon certain Elf-Lord's hand, whispering to her? ElladanXOC

Hurt by the taunts of his young friends, little Aragorn runs away and hides in the forest after breaking his arm, convinced that being adopted means his elven father doesn't really want him. Elrond and his sons must find the youngest member of their family and set things straight. This is the fourth story in the Mellon Chronicles.

Elladan and Elrohir are hiding from Lindir, who they pranked. Estel finds them hiding in the kitchen pantry and betrays them. Chaos and humor ensues. One-shot.

A story in which the twins Elladan and Elrohir hurt their little brother without realizing it. Estel is left terrified of them and Elrond, Glorfindel and Erestor are up to the task to fix it without leaving permanent damage on the house of Eärendil. Can they win the future heir of Gondor's trust back? Fluff story about apologizing, forgiveness and family moments.

A dwarrowdam gives birth to a baby girl. Normally this would be a joyous occasion, however this pregnancy was unplanned and unwanted. The mother feels like she's not ready to 'play that roll' quite yet. So the little baby dwarrowdam gets sent away. What does the father think? Where will the child go? Will she have powers? Who will take care of her? Will they meet again? Does the Child even Want to meet her parents after being abandoned?

Curuaras, a presumed Noldor elf, awakes in a small human village with no memory of anything other than a name. The family who found him is very kind, but he just wants to get home-where ever home is. And as danger lurks around the corner, will Curuaras be a help to this village, or a hinderance? And will he regain his memories?

Young Aragorn has a nightmare and Elrond comforts him. Aragorn discovers that elves sleep with their eyes open. This is the third story in the Mellon Chronicles.
