If I could, I would. sometimes when you're young and dumb , you make mistakes that you'd laugh about 30 years later, saying how dumb and immature you are. In his past life, the people around him were not kind or helpful; his parents escaped from the debt collector and just abandoned him at the church. At the age of 16, he thought the people around him were kind, but no, they were not. Ryota is placed in the church's orphanage, where he is surrounded by other children who have been abandoned or orphaned. He finds little solace among them, as they are often jealous of his looks or his quiet nature.
