In the beginning, when the realms were one, the Majesty of Lotus found a dragon hatchling abandoned and starving. She raised it as her own, nurturing the pure white dragon whose breath once painted clouds for immortals to dance upon.
His name was Guang Xiang.
He was adorable. He was gentle. He was beloved by all.
But love soon turned into grief.
When the man the Majesty of Lotus loved abandoned her for a fairy immortal, grief poisoned her heart. She hunted the fairies across the realms, tearing out their Primordial Spirits and feeding them to the dragon she raised.
With every spirit consumed, Guang Xiang changed.
His scales hardened.
His breath turned to scorching flame.
His kindness burned away.
When the fairies finally killed the Majesty of Lotus for retribution, the dragon went mad with grief. He smashed his head against mountains until seven heads grew where one had been. From that day on, winter swallowed the realms, calamity followed his shadow, and none dared speak his name aloud.
The fairies also killed him soon after.
But a dragon like Guang Xiang does not truly die.
Legends whisper that his shattered Primordial Spirit still exists. That his core remains intact, hidden within his fated bride-the one he marked long before death. The one who belongs to him.
No one knows how to destroy the dragon. Some say only the Lotus Book, left behind by the Majesty of Lotus, holds the answer.
After thousands of years, unable to find the Lotus Book, the High Immortal Ascendant of War, Chidi Yun Xi, turns her blade toward the dragon's fated bride.
But Guang Xiang has never tolerated trespassers.
What is his is his alone.
What he has claimed will not be touched.
And if they dare reach for her-
the dragon will awaken his wrath to end.

"Short memories invite calamity," Guang Xiang's gaze is indifferent. "A frog at the bottom of the well mistakes fear for bravery, after all, because who dares touch my person, whilst I still live?"
