Blood and Ember: A Chronicle of Shadow and Fire In the citadel of Orison, where salt-thick winds kiss lemon terraces and the catacombs hum with old hymns, Nadine Arquette hunts what should not live and protects those who must. When a silver eclipse coin ties her bloodline to Lachlan Ryn-a white immortal whose gentleness is as dangerous as any blade-she is dragged into a forbidden covenant of famine and faith. The Covenant of Noonsbane seeks to sanctify hunger, to make thirst holy and consent an afterthought. Nadine will not yield. Between market riots, moonless storms, and rituals carved in salt and ash, she forges a new law of desire: willing, witnessed, limited. As enemies crown starvation a virtue, Nadine and Lachlan fight, burn, and yearn their way toward a balance that refuses to bruise. Their romance is slow and scorching, tender with sharp edges-kisses tasted like vows, touches asked and answered-while the city learns to speak a language where intimacy is power and restraint is grace. The night is watching. So is she. - ©️ Relle H

After living for over 10,000 years, Hero still looked as youthful as the day he first set out on his journey. It's wild to think about: after all these lifetimes, all these battles and moments of peace, Hero decided to start something as simple as a bullet journal. He realized it was time to put his countless memories and experiences down on paper-not just to keep track of everything he's seen and done, but to really understand it. At first, the journal was just a place to jot down things like reminders and highlights from his recent travels: ancient ruins explored, mythical creatures met, alliances made, and even the occasional battle strategy. But soon, it became so much more. Each page transformed into a map of his thoughts, his victories, and even his losses. It was as if, for the first time, he was able to look at his journey from a distance and see patterns he'd never noticed before. What Hero found most surprising, though, was how writing things down connected him to his past selves in a way that felt real and grounded. This wasn't about boasting his achievements-it was about understanding who he was becoming after all these years. He'd faced off with monsters and ancient foes, sure, but he was starting to see that his biggest challenges weren't always external. The real adventure, he realized, was inside himself. Now, whenever Hero returns from an adventure, he goes straight to his bullet journal. It's become more than a record; it's a companion. Each line he writes is like a note to his future self and a bit of wisdom he'll eventually pass on. In a strange way, this journal has become his legacy-something to guide the adventurers who'll come after him and perhaps, one day, unlock their own stories.
