It's Valentine's day in Brooklyn. Well, this is a poem, as the title suggests...it wanders around a simple question: Have you ever loved a rose? This poem will leave you with endless thoughts and feelings, but it would be based on your experience with the 'rose' of your life. I hope you enjoy reading this poem as much I enjoyed writing it!

In a society dictated by perfection, death is no more than an option. Time is no more than a meaningless word. Life is endless and love stretches far beyond the end of life. In this future, the Lions, two genius' that have discovered ways to manipulate life and death, have replaced the president and the vice president. They are accompanied by the Guard, uniformed men and women in charge of balance. Will perfection remain, or will the loss of love manipulate the already manipulated into a flaw? How my perception of the role a minister has in the church was changed. This is a true account that has impacted me for over 35 years. Plus other sermons that moved me as well as other stories. I am impacted by emotional, moving events and ideas that paint a vivid picture in my mind. They stay with me and I hope to share them well enough for them to touch your heart too.

Echo and Hallie found each other under arbitrary circumstances, almost as if it was meant to be. At least it felt like it. They were made for each other. Until it was all gone in the blink of an eye. But they wouldn't have changed it for the world.

I've seen a few other authors put together a little poetry book and I thought what a great idea! Sometimes I'm hit by these deep thoughts or complicated feelings that are hard to place and I can't figure out what to do with them! Well, I finally found them a home! What Dolly does in a day to be happy.

Jack recently lost his father and decides that in order to cope with his loss, he will make a boat to honor his dad. This short story entails just how exactly a person deals with grief healthily, and how they will come out in the end.

A Short Poem of a Lady's Societal Restraints

Monologue - Floyd Miles "Abused and shunned,was the only thing I could remember of my father.All those years spent with him.That's all I could remember.It's fine, everything's fine.As long it doesn't involves my mother.But if it does.The first thing I'll do is find him and teach him a few things that I've learned from him". The words harbor such an excessive amount of hate,it is incomprehensible.All Floyd Miles wanted was to protect his mother from harm.Indeed,it is going to be a thorny path.But that wouldn't even matter in his case.Everyday,he train and study.Every knowledge he can take,he takes.To the point he would not even sleep.Every time he can train,he train.To the point he could be easily identify as a cripple.This inhumane training goes on everyday.That is until,the days of his high school life begins.Where his accumulate knowledge and strength is put to the test.

DRAMA-ROMANCE A boy notices her in class - quiet, distant, sketching in a black notebook. A girl who doesn't speak, who hides in silence, and whose art speaks louder than words. Brett doesn't know her name at first, but he finds himself drawn to her mystery. When a small black book appears with a single warning - "Don't read me" - curiosity pulls him into her world of unspoken pain, fleeting smiles, and fragile trust. Some stories aren't about love. They're about noticing someone's silence, holding space for them, and learning that sometimes, the bravest thing you can do... is simply stay.
