But after a couple of months, both Spirit and Green Lantern were unable to remain on Earth for long and they had to return to their respected positions, leaving Alya to continued her training with The Team. It has been five years since the Justice League was under the control of the Light, and the team had to save the day. Eight years since Marie Jordan was ripped from her universe and dropped into Earth 16, her home. It's been four years since Marie Jordan was able to return to Ninjago, and was able to find a way to travel between the two worlds. It's been months since Marie Jordan has been home, as she was traveling between universes to get a better understanding of what her purpose is in the multiverse, but when her younger cousin, get powers and joins the Team. First of all, spoilers for Season 2 of Young Justice. This is not so much of a Fanfic as it is a background-fic, if that makes any sense. I basically just made up a whole bunch of things about my favorite character's (Impulse, aka Bart Allen's) background before he came to 2016. This is not an accurate representation of what happened after Wally's death, I didn't read any of the comic books (Idk if there are any) that take place after Season 2 because the ending tore me apart so much that I didn't want to read anymore, so this isn't based off of them either. The story takes place after Wally's death and deals with the origins of Impulse's mission to save everyone from Blue Beetle, the Reach, and the Light, who never actually left or stopped working with eachother. Bart knows this and tries to convince the Team and the League of this, but no one listens to him. Later in the story a new character comes in and they are not actually part of anything DC has come up with. They are merely a figment of my imagination.

Grian, a Wyvern was an ultra. He was hidden as his human form his whole life. Until he came to Hermitcraft and everything changed completely. But a selfish creature wanted him dead. (Can't think of better title. Sorry!) Collection of Angst/Hurt&Comfort Young Justice One/Two-shots. 1.) As Bart Allen pumped his legs down hall after hall, into room after room without success, tearing through so many labs he lost count, he kept repeating one thought, a single desperate prayer, over and over, until it was a mantra, running constantly through his very being. All consuming, because he can't bear for it not to be true. He can't be too late. 2.) "...I'm going to need you to repeat that. Slowly, cus I could have sworn you said..." As much as it killed me...I had to tell Bart. He was pale and shaky and I knew I didn't have to repeat myself. Good. I didn't want to. I wanted to slap the Reach out of my friend and just pull him close and beat the ever-loving crap out of the Reach-controlled beetle that took advantage of Jaime's desperation to achieve their goal of getting a new puppet. But most of all...I want to hug that horrid look off poor Bart's face. Please enjoy!
