Kaliah Doli is one of the few residents of the dystopian village of Hackney. Born into a place lacking any sense of creativity, Kaliah frequently indulges in the many arts. It is during one of these creative sessions that Kaliah discovers a gift that makes her even smaller in an already small world but opens her mind to a whole new universe she can barely start to understand. Black and beautiful

They start out as childhood friend's and then become ofens at a young age. Delila, and Ravin. They grow up not knowing what love is like from family or out siders, only from each other. Later down the rode they realize their not blood. They grow up helping each other with mental illness. One murders the wrong, the other knows how to handle murder. They work together in a "friendship" murder spree. "The ravin wolf sections in this book are someone else's work. I did get permission to use their work. It is not my work. I give full credit to ravin wolf."

Four people brought down by the standards of society on their backs, Struggling to survive and trying to live up to standards that are considered "normal". Go through each one's lives and how they go through it by chance some luck and a lot of hard work. Meet Erika Woods a woman in her adult years and been obese since her teen years. Not getting a job because of her looks, to being treated like a large invisible object. Or Aaren Robins a teen who is not as smart as the "1% smartest students" labeled as "stupid" by her school. Daniel Parker, a homeless man that went down the wrong path trying to get back up only be pushed by those better and more superiors. Finally, meet Jade Drama a girl that one day broke down and spilled her thoughts that was her soon to find out mental illness. Four people four different stories. 10 parts per character.
