Skylar Miller is the daughter of a wealthy business man. Skylar suddenly goes missing after a deal was made within her fathers business. The case for kidnapping is prolonged and many people begin to loose hope until something happens.

This story follows the events of an 18 year old girl named Brooke Cyprus who had been continuously neglected. This ended up with her being turned into the reestablishment to be contained in a single room for an abusive amount of time. She did not expect to find a newfound feeling of what she discovers to be love nor did she greet them with ease. This feeling was targeted towards somebody known to be a ruthless and robotic leader. To know more you will have to read on:). I do not own any of these characters except for for Brooke and a few others you won't recognise from the series because I had brought them to life. {UNDER MAJOR REWRITING} [ON HOLD?] I grew up with stories of outsiders. Nasty creatures that come during the night to snatch up the young or the disobedient, never to be seen again. They are said to be the gods first creations, and when they crafted us after, they went mad with jealousy and sought to destroy us, to win back the gods love and affection. I was told of godly creatures that were driven mad by their own lust for attention, corrupting the beautiful vessels that were created for them. I was told of scraggly creatures with glowing eyes, not unlike the wolves of the thick underbrush. Looming in heights to match the tallest of trees, pointed teeth for crushing bones of their victims. The reality I was presented with was drastically different. They looked.. almost like us. --------- This story is about winged people :) I fell in love with the idea ages ago and I just had to so uh, sue me [Also, I know the name on the cover is wrong, it is for all my books. I'm too lazy to change it rn]

Humans evolved from apes and every animal in the world can be traced back along evolution to the first living cells. That means that animals and humans are connected in a way, however distantly. But what if the connection wasn't invisible. What if animal traits could be seen in humans? A fictional world where people who carry these traits are feared and contained, persecuted even, and are deemed the 'afflicted'. The world is just starting to recover after a recent war with these 'afflicted' and things don't appear to be changing for the better. Each year the treatment of those who are different becomes worse, even after they are confined to the large island of Pangaea. Politicians, diplomats and world leaders are gathering on Pangaea to discuss the worsening attitudes toward the 'afflicted' and with them comes Cree Lyne. Along with the fox, the bluejay and the ever-snoring grizzly will she find her stolen brother or find out why the long-dead raccoon boy still haunts his friends?

Just a little piece that I drafted a while back. This was originally supposed to be an introduction to a novel but by then I had shifted gears and crafted something completely different. Isn't it astounding how much your story can change, huh? Regardless, I decided to post this here for feedback on whether you guys think that this would make for a solid intro for any future works I might do later on.

[Highest rank: #1 in expression] I was in a bad place when I wrote these poems. Read at your own risk. Now I just look back and admire my rhyming skills though. All of these poems and quotes are thought up by me. I made them up from scratch and it is completely coincidental if it resembles something you have seen before. I was in a bad place and needed some form of expression. It's pretty much kind of repetitive, but it was just a way to let off some steam. Thank you and enjoy!

He believes that life has no meaning, and he just takes over as their only son. Due to this fact, he had set his eyes on Leo. He thinks she's trying to escape from her grounds. That is, until she actually escapes. Extract: I unbind her wrists as she wriggled out of my grasp. "What are you doing?" She asked me. "Freeing you!" I shouted softly. "Why?" Because I can't bear to see you like this obviously. But I couldn't say that. She hated me. She has all the reasons to. I didn't. To me, she was the first person that had ever made me feel something. I didn't like it; it made me do stupid things like what I had been doing then. I grabbed her hand, encasing her small palm, but she shook it off. "Let go! What gives you the permission to touch me?!" I dropped my hand. Screw you, weird feeling! Stop making me do these things! I silently thanked the darkness because she couldn't see the blush tinging my cheeks from the embarrassment of trying to hold her hand. She walked past me, scent floating alongside her, and I had to remind myself that I hated her or it would have gone wrong. I heard a noise, and involuntarily pressed my arm against her chest to keep her to the wall. I could feel her heartbeat thundering. She opened her mouth to protest. "Shut up, can't you hear someone?"

I glanced over at the stairs, wishing I could go back to my room when my eyes fell on him. His back was strong and smooth, his white shirt clinging to the muscles underneath. His long lean legs were covered by dress pants and his raven black hair was tossled around like he'd ran his fingers through it many times. He turned slightly to the side, giving me a fraction of his face and as if he felt my stare he turned and met my eyes. My body stiffened and my breath caught. He was my mate.....and my Alpha. He took a step forward but I shook my head and said something I'd never believed I would say to my mate, "You're a fool to think I'd accept you." ************************************************************************************ Alice has given her sister to two rogues in hopes of saving her sister from the Alpha.
