Had he believed the lies that were told? Did he completely hate her now, as she had been told? She still hadn't seen him, though her eyes never gave up their search. Questions were racing through her mind, none had answers. Her heart completely stopped as gray met green.

They didn't know their names, only what they were called by the Guards. They didn't know anything about themselves, only their basic information, weight, height, their score, but they only needed to remember that when they were called for evaluation. The government wanted that way, they didn't need any questions asked unless they wanted them to be asked. This was a test, which only the smartest could pass. That's why chaos ensued after the first person went to eval and didn't return. She's called Red, and she was the first to remember.
