Basically the Double Life mechanics but on the Hermitcraft server. Except they still have infinite respawn. Ao3 will have the NSFW omitted parts! Only because it's easier to tag on Ao3. It'll be under the same name, and you'll get a sneak peek at the pairs and whether they're purely platonic or not! because not all of them are going to be 100% platonic.

Impulse and Skizz have been close friends for years, even going so far as to living together. They have always worked well together and know it. So when the house starts to feel lonely, they're financially comfortable, and receive an ad for their local orphanage, they jump at the chance. The characters in this are characters, not actual people. Even though there's no shipping, I feel like it still needs to be said. Also, this idea came from "Smallishcats" on YouTube. The AU is different, but the original idea is from them! :3

Impulse has spent most of his life watching his friends succeed as superheroes. They're granted by necklaces, made by the original Hotguy and Cuteguy - the first ever superheroes. Over time, they were manipulated to control a certain element - including light and dark. The light and dark were locked away for people's safety, because the dark necklace corrupts the holder - but someone got it, and gave it to an innocent. Now Impulse, despite rejecting one so many times, has to step up. But not everything is as it seems.

Hermit City is a city of heroes and villains, and Grian is one of its most reliably factual and truthful reporters. So reliable, in fact, that the Heroes' Association values him and his reports enough that they assigned him a bodyguard: HotGuy himself! Grian and Scar have been doing this for years, now, and their relationship is more than just that of bodyguard and charge. It might even be more than just a friendship! Their time to explore and find out what they are to each other is cut short when Grian starts investigating the famous Pearl Moon case, and Scar isn't there to protect him.

(This is basically the plot of the Anime, "Erased, the town without me", you do not have to have watched it to read this! In fact, it might be more fun if you haven't watched the show!)
