I couldn't bring myself to take it. also, voldamort WILL NOT be kind and fatherly. I intend to be true to his original character. He is and will be manipulative, cunning, ambitious, unloyal, and untrustworthy. if you have ever seen tangled, this story will be more accurate to Mother gothal and rapunzel's relationship. Voldamort only keeps Harry because he is a horcrux. He only does it to protect himself. this is in no way something to be seen as normal or kind. His "kindness" isn't kindness at all.) That being said, I really hope you like this story. Some parts may not be true to the cannon, but this is fanfiction, so in reading this, it's expected. Some are slightly depressing, others not so much. I just like to write poetry. (The title is a reference to Alfred Noyse's "The Highwayman")

It stemmed from a simple idea, "Also, should I make a reader-insert story (Idk if cracky or serious) where they are invited to the Bread House's masquerade party and meet a certain few... bread connoisseurs?" and then a simple paragraph, "Ah, the wonderful smell of baked bread wafts over to your nose, and the beautiful music waltz's you around the room, beckoning you to try the different types of bread" but then turned into an entire story. This is the story. (Warning: Slow Updates) There'll be many references to different fandoms and such as well as different cameos because this wasn't supposed to be an entire story. Try and figure out who's who since guessing games are fun.
