It's bad, really bad

I live in the ocean. I don't have a name. I don't know the color of my eyes. I've seen many magnificent creatures but I've never met any like me. The whale told me I looked like a human, i didn't take any notice to the comment at first. The comment really hit me when I washed up on shore and met two humans. They offered to protect me because if the scientists found me they would test on me until my death. Should I be scared?
