A teen relocating in the aftermath of her father's overdose finds herself wrapped up in the disappearance of a missing girl, and possibly falling for the number one suspect: the boyfriend.

Melissa Rystone is all for Lawlor High's lacrosse team, the Bobcats, until their star player, Darren Karisoff, starts dating her best friend. Emily Wilden is more than flattered to be the one Darren chose as his new girlfriend, only, Darren holds a secret only Melissa's capable of knowing. When Melissa finds out that secret, her life goes spinning in the opposite direction. Emily is completely oblivious to it, but perhaps a whole new secret is kept: Melissa is having an affair with Darren.
