Even though Dakota Olsen is bold, adventurous, and beautiful, she's never been the one to like what everyone else likes. Some girls play sports, others compete in academic decathlons. Many girls write poetry while some sit home and watch tv; but not Dakota. Dakota likes transforming people into different creatures and people with theatre makeup. And when the opportunity to do something with her passion and talent presents itself, she can't help but pounce on it. She takes the chance and everything seems to be going perfectly, and not just the makeup if you know what I mean, when almost everything bursts. The Dakota Diaries: Bursting Within Me is the second installment in the short story series The Dakota Diaries that follows Dakota and her friends through their adventures in high school and in life.
