**first draft**
Gwyneth is your average socially awkward bookish 17 year old with a big vocabulary. Problem is, she's illegally moved away from her alcoholic parents and sour childhood environment in search of the life she wants for herself.
Magnolia, Gwen's younger sister, hopes to escape her frustrating parents. She's determined to be exactly like her older sister, but Gwen worries that she's not enough for her.
Finn moves away from his parents in hopes of pursuing his dreams, and opens Booked for the Year, the local corner bookshop on Main Street.
Gwyneth struggles with her multi-faceted daily life: being a teenager in college, the sole breadwinner, a book lover, and a responsible mentor-figure for her younger sister's life. Throw in the adorable bookstore owner who just moved in and a plot to reunite her with her mentally-unstable older brother, and she has herself in quite the tangle.
