#30 historical fiction 28/4/18 An orphan princess. An exiled queen. A demeaned wife. An abducted victim. A mother burnt to ashes. Her story has been famous for ages.Story of the heroine of the oldest epic Ramayan. Sita. Maithili.Janaki. The story of a woman elevated to the highest ranks of the ideal feminine. A sati. But at the cost of what? This story is based on Ramayana. But the characters r mere humans with human tendencies. Pl. don't argue these are Gods n their curses will befall me n my story☺ _____________ BACKGROUND **************** king janak of mithila was sita's father. Some accounts say sita as a daughter born to the king out of his union with the land. Some say sita as king Janak's adopted daughter found when he was ploughing. Its not difficult to read between the lines n understand exactly what he was ploughing into when he had sita. sowing wild oats and reaping the harvest.😊why would a king suddenly till land n find a child? IMO the child would have died while the ploughing happened😨 Sita is referred to as daughter of earth. Vasudha is NOT a character in ramayana. She's a tribal woman created outta my imagination.history always glosses over nasty aspects of kings.a daughter born out of a kings union with the land or earth goddess sounds metaphorical n less weird when u think of it as his child born outta wedlock with a tribal woman.Someone who wasn't a queen n whose name meant earth. Vasudha means earth.she belongs to a lower caste.sita's birth mother. This story is gonna be entirely human. No godliness or miracles exist here...which are extremely hard to rationally believe. Rama was a great king. Worshipped as a god. But he too was human after all. characters here r compelled by human motives. Some characters maybe imaginary just to fill gaps in storytelling. This story does not wish to hurt religious sentiments. It only tells the story of a woman. Where she came from..who she knew..what happened to her. Sita. JANAKI.

In 2026, a ninety-nine-year-old Mahaguru awakens from a vision that refuses to fade. Not of the end of the world- but of a moment where the future still has a choice. A world fractured by war. A time where faith feels distant. And somewhere in the flow of history... a path that was never meant to be forgotten. To protect what lies ahead, the Mahaguru begins writing a story erased by centuries- not of gods or monsters, but of a journey. Eight hundred years earlier, the Chandrapur Empire stands amid rising conflicts and moral collapse. Power is pursued without restraint. Loyalties break. Dharma weakens. Far from royal bloodlines and destiny's spotlight, a boy grows up unknown. He does not seek greatness. He does not know what the future demands of him. Yet step by step, circumstances push him forward. Every trial shapes him. Every choice changes him. Every sacrifice brings him closer to a truth he never asked for. As ancient teachings resurface, forgotten warriors awaken, and a responsibility too heavy for one life begins to take form, the story asks a single question- What does it take to become the one who stands when the world cannot? This is not the tale of a chosen savior. It is the journey of someone who becomes one. Because sometimes, the future can only be corrected by understanding the past. And there is only one way to understand it- To walk the journey.

This is a story about a soldier. Who didn't decide on the war, who had no personal enmity towards the other side. He who followed his Dharma all of his life. Yet, why did he have to live in fear for those 18 days of war? Why did he feel dread whenever God Himself blew the conch, every morning? Told in the form of a memoir, this story is less about the war and more about the cost of believing without understanding.

Four hundred years ago, beneath a lightning-struck neem tree, two children spoke vows they didn't understand. A princess and a stable boy, playing at marriage, not knowing that some words, spoken in certain places, at certain times, carry weight beyond intention. The gandharvas were listening. The celestial witnesses recorded it all. Now, in the 1960s India, a nameless boy appears during monsoon, a boy who knows Maitrey's dreams before she speaks them, who sees the thread that binds them across lifetimes. They have found each other before, century after century, only to be torn apart by families, by society, by a world that refuses to recognise what heaven has already joined. But this time, they remember. This time, they know the pattern. And this time, they might finally have the courage to claim what was always theirs. A haunting reimagining of Wuthering Heights set in historical India, ANUBANDHA explores the impossible space between celestial truth and mortal society, between the love we choose and the love that chooses us. Some bonds cannot be broken. Some vows outlive the bodies that spoke them. Some stories refuse to end until they are told right. The Silence That Learned to See "She did not blind herself to grieve. She blinded herself to see." History remembers Gandhari as a grieving queen who chose darkness in loyalty to her blind husband. But the Mahabharata never explains what she saw in that darkness. In the silence before she cursed Krishna, Gandhari stopped being a mourner - and became a vessel. Her blindness was not an act of devotion, but of restraint. A way to contain something the world was not meant to witness. In the present day, Vishu and her friends stumble upon an anomaly hidden inside an ancient chant - a rhythmic shloka whose frequency does not belong to language, but to space itself. When played aloud, it stirs dust into patterns, walls into maps, and silence into motion. As Kushboo recognizes the chant's forgotten cadence and Tanu deciphers its impossible Sanskrit, Vishu begins to understand the terrifying truth: Gandhari's silence was not empty. It was stored. And once awakened, silence does not remain quiet.

Set in the ancient kingdom of Kaliyant, this mythological tale explores the conflict between divine destiny and mortal lineage, love and power, faith and blood. King Vayun, ruler of the Moon Clan, governs alongside his two queens-Kuniya, blessed by the gods, and Meera, driven by human longing and devotion. Through a sacred divine spell, Kuniya bears three demigod sons-Jayan, Veeran, and Arun-celebrated as heavenly gifts meant to safeguard the kingdom's future. Out of compassion, she shares this divine secret with Meera, who then gives birth to twin sons-Niran and Sayan, also born through divine intervention. With five god-blessed princes, Kaliyant appears destined for eternal prosperity. However, the story takes a powerful turn when Meera yearns for a child born not of the gods, but of love and mortality. Her union with King Vayun results in a pregnancy that awakens something unprecedented-a child of pure bloodline, unbound by divine spells. Vayun proclaims this unborn child as the true heir of the Moon Clan, a successor rooted in ancestral legacy rather than borrowed divinity. This declaration ignites unease within the royal court. Advisors question whether a mortal-born child can surpass demigods, while mysterious lunar omens begin to shadow the kingdom. The moon glows unnaturally, sages argue over prophecy, and destiny itself seems to tremble. At its heart, the story is about identity, legitimacy, and destiny-asking whether true greatness is granted by gods or forged through human will. Meera's unborn child symbolizes a convergence of divine and mortal forces, hinting at a future that could either unite the kingdom under a new order or plunge it into conflict. A tale rich in mythology, emotion, and prophecy, this story sets the foundation for an epic struggle over наследage, power, and the true meaning of destiny. 🌙✨
