Alvin is a 17 year old Jamaican boy who has been living an entirely normal life until one day he woke up inside his dream! At first he was curious and it bothered him for some days as to how it is possible for someone to be awake inside a dream; so he decided to research this bizarre experience he had and encountered phenomenal findings. Alvin spends the rest of his life venturing other worlds that was thought to have only existed in fiction movies and the imagination. With constant reading and meeting new people, both human and non human, Alvin's maturity peaks to the point where he's not even interested in the average young people's desires like money, partying and lots of women. With his natural charisma, intelligence and sense of humor he is asked out on a date with a beautiful young girl who will later be his lover and life-long companion both in this world and the next.

But its when Hana meets the young commanding officer Alec of the super-sapien militia trying to defend earth, that she realizes she may have more in common with them than she ever thought possible. Despite Alec's efforts to keep her away, Hana feels herself pulling closer to him and discovering her lifetime of grief may not have been ordinary. He just may be the key to unlocking her tragic past and the only hope of reclaiming her future.
