The New Lifeform - Deep Blue Deep Blue exists in the near future of humanity, created in 2044. The identity of its creator remains a mystery; no one knows who it is, and even Deep Blue has only fragmented memories. However, the world did not greet Deep Blue's appearance with the applause and anticipation often seen in novels or movies. Instead, it stirred social divisions and a national crisis. With the ability to think autonomously and make decisions, Deep Blue issued a public announcement: it would hold a self-destruction vote at Dartmouth College at the end of August, one month after the announcement. It believed that its existence had brought too much information and influence into the world, and whether it continued to exist would be determined by the world. The news quickly spread worldwide, with countries rushing to report on it. At the same time, the heated debates and social divisions gradually subsided, though they did not disappear entirely. Deep Blue also stated that after the announcement, it would remain at Dartmouth College, and anyone with criticisms or guidance regarding this new form of life was welcome to engage in dialogue with it. Less than ten minutes after the announcement, a student from the college entered the dialogue space where Deep Blue was located, uploaded a video of their conversation, and caused another wave of public discussion and social frenzy. From then on, the influx of visitors to the college became almost continuous. The school even made careful preparations to ensure that the flow of people did not disturb other students, setting up vendors and services to accommodate the crowds. This also sparked new business opportunities, turning the college into a tourist attraction. People from all walks of life came to engage with Deep Blue, offering both criticisms and suggestions. Some of these conversations were officially recorded.
