Crowley and Aziraphale part ways after Crowley finally admits his feelings for the angel. But it would be naive to think the two beings could simply stay out of each other's way, when it's so obvious (and canon!) that they like each other. Some even suggest they're in love. - - - a silly little fix-it-story as a fast way to cope with the ending to the second season. originally uploaded in august 2023, entire rewrite in late 2025 / early 2026. not my cover art.

2026. Aziraphale, morose d'une vie sans attrait au Paradis, apprend que Crowley a été fait prisonnier par l'archange Michael et le Metatron. Pour l'annihiler. Mais Aziraphale aura-t-il le courage de mettre un terme à la vie de son compagnon, et par la même occasion à cet amour croissant depuis 6000 ans ? Pendant ce temps, Crowley, qui a vécu à la librairie avec Muriel ces trois dernières années, est terrorisé à l'idée de revoir Aziraphale. Oui, bon, désolé.e, je suis nul.le pour les intros, mais c'est vraiment bien, hein ? Et c'est drôle, et gnagnagna, et gnagnagna... Oh, et, pour être honnête, étant athée, je n'ai que des notions réduites, ou du moins basiques, de la religion chrétienne. Et encore une chose, j'apporte ma propre personnalité dans les leurs, bien que j'essaye vraiment d'être pertinent.e. Et je fais des monologues entre eux, basés sur mes propres analyses de leur relation, de la série, tout ça. ET AUSSI, il y a quelques headcanons, découlant du fait que je connaisse pas grand-chose en religion chrétienne, mais j'essaye quand même de rester fidèle à l'œuvre et à la religion... This short story is inspired by what I saw lately on instagram and other social media related to Good Omens' season 3 and its BTS, particularly, my creative flair was stimulated by the page @tennantism on instagram (love that page with both my body and soul I swear-) (also posted on ao3!!) In this one shot, Crowley's still dealing with the sense of emptiness that seems to be haunting him ever since Aziraphale left him for Heaven. While he tries to handle his contrasting feelings, something unexpected happens. Someone, a familiar face enters the bookshop, and meets his gaze. And perhaps, this time a nightingale might be singing in Berkley Square.

Aziraphale furnished him with what was a somewhat lovely single malt Scotch, which Crowley wasted by swallowing down until it burned his throat. "Dagon. You have Dagon in your shop. Aziraphale, my oldest and best enemy, I go away for just a few decades, and you summon my line manager? You-you-" Aziraphale looked a little guilty. ***** Crowley finds out that perhaps napping for a century isn't completely without consequences. One of the consequences is apparently finding himself courting an angel who is incomprehensibly attached to the Lord of the Files and Master of Torments. Love is a worse torment than even Dagon could dream up. NOTES: The first three chapters of this were posted in some form or other in my Good Omens shorts book, but it's getting long enough to need its own book. Her and Crowley won't see eye to eye and she seems to be very cautious around Aziraphale.
