Lockwood and Co are one of many vampire hunter agencies in London, their task is to help contain vampires hidden throughout the city. Vampires started appearing 50 years ago in a surge that soon was named "The Problem" and soon after, agencies were made as youth started to also show helpful talents. Able to see and hear vampires and the occasional ghost better than any unsuspecting adults could, some even had powers like a witch. Every agency had to include a supervisor or a youth who had the power of a witch to act incase something happened to the other members of the agency. Lockwood and Co had 3 members: Lucy Carlye-keen hearing ability. George Karim-the witch plus researcher. And Anthony Lockwood-amazing sight ability. They didn't have an adult supervisor but sometimes teamed up with Quill Kipps, a Fittes agent turned supervisor after his talent for the supernatural faded with his age. Vampires were seen as evil and malicious, ghosts were called visitors type 1,2, and 3. Vampires were called type 4s, the ones that were feral and didn't have the ability to think and hide as a human and only had instinct to feed. Type 5s were the ones who had the ability to hide, think, and act like a human and could even train themselves to go without any blood which sometimes worked out for them or, agents found them laying in the street starved to death over time. Lockwood and co had a small reputation for solving cases with some collateral damage, minor offenses included burning a clients house down mid job, the client getting killed by a visitor, and so on. But surprisingly Lockwood and CO's success rate was also high with small cases that didn't involve collateral damage which led the young agents to a problem. They needed to solve a big case before DEPRAC shut their independent agency down, the Brekkerborn case was just what they needed...but not what they expected. *I DO NOT OWN LOCKWOOD AND CO* *small six of crows cameo👀* *NOW ON AO3!!
