Two years after the crows quest at the ice court, zoya, the queen of Ravka comes with a job for kaz's crows, but with Jan Van Eck out of prison again , finding a way to save the darkling may not be the only things the crows will have to face.

He isn't answering his phone and none of the other crows have seen him in the last hour. After a couple of hours Jesper gets worried and tries to contact him but with no answer he doesn't know what to do, until eventually he gets a call.
