A coherent theory of the rise and fall of civilizations. This essay is neither a policy paper nor a party platform. It does not ask the reader to be a capitalist, a socialist, or anything in between. It asks only one question, and asks it honestly: are the systems we live inside - whatever they are called - serving the dignity of the people inside them? The dual test is simple: Does the system reward creation over extraction? Does it protect the mind as well as the body? If the answer to both is yes, the system is working. If the answer to either is no, then regardless of its label, it has broken faith with the people it governs. The ideas here are not the author's alone. They are drawn from centuries of people who refused to accept that injustice was inevitable - philosophers, economists, poets, scientists, and ordinary citizens who insisted that systems are choices, and that choices can always be made again. They are also drawn from the millions of people posting in subreddits, writing on Substack (substack.com), publishing on Medium (medium.com), arguing on Hacker News (news.ycombinator.com), and building in public on GitHub - the vast, noisy, imperfect commons of the internet, where the next social deal is already being drafted, one commit, one post, one thread at a time. That insistence is the oldest form of hope there is. It is also, in the end, the only one that matters.

The situation for First Nations children is incredibly discriminatory, unfair, unequal, and deeply traumatic. First Nations kids don't get adequate social services, get unequal social services, are sometimes denied healthcare, their schools are underfunded, and kids are being separated from their families. Combining what was socially acceptable in the period with what was controversial or socially unacceptable, it highlights a bond between brother and sister which is later discovered to be more as family secrets are revealed. It questions the societal norms and expectations of the English culture and highlights the struggle of individual identity during the Victorian Era and additionally analyses the consequences of an individual suppressing their own sexual orientation.

About life as a woman

After a mass break-out of zoo animals raises suspicions, an illiterate boy uncovers a scheme to rid the city of all lower-class citizens... including him. *** In a land where discriminations are common and technology evolves faster than the living, adapting to the system is a must. The arrival of a scientist-turned-mayor in Dogson City also further pressures the citizens with the introduction of Contributier, a system that records the citizens' contributions and sorts them into Tiers based on their accumulated points. Those in the Low-Tier are soon regarded as societal waste, while those in the Top-Tier are glorified and feared like lions in the jungle. But chaos ensues once the local zoo experiences a 'zoo-break' on the mayor's first anniversary. And to further complicate the matter, several unfortunate citizens--including Allice, an illiterate Low-Tier boy--accidentally stumble upon carelessly spread-out secrets and schemes, making them the perfect prey for daunting human-faced beasts in the city. Now Allice and his companions must break free from the swamped situation they've fallen into. Or their future lies solely under the mercy of the beasts in the mysterious land.
