It's a continuing occurrence until one of the russian dolls break and when it does it freezes everything. - "Willow, I promise you I will get you anything you want. Just say it and I'll get it for you." "You know I only want one thing, a Russian Doll of my own." "You know I can't give you that." "Then why promise." -

After abortion and birth control were banned, the United States of America suffered from rampant over-population. The government tried various methods to fix the problem. They attempted a one-child policy, but this was not enough--cities were running out of space, and the country was running out of resources. Finally, when food shortages and crowding threatened to bring the country down, the government came up with a solution. Only the brightest, healthiest, and morally upright people would be allowed to have children; these people would be fostered in a sheltered compound, safe from the outside world. These children would be raised to be God's salvation for the country. All others would be made infertile at age 10. In only a generation, America would rise up renewed and better than ever. These are four vignettes written in response to Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale.

It's not a story, it's reality; a glimpse of my life. I am literally bored of fictious and islamic romantic stories. Every one has a story to tell.Everyone expresses their dream imaginations but very rare people actually write about practical life. This is my story. Mostly my views and experiences with acne, infertility, marriage, motherhood....read to find out more. Problems aren't funny, but you can actually find a humorous and optimistic way to deal with it. 😀 Every thing has a good side but it takes a good eye to find it.

A list of poems that exposes you to the world of women who feel helpless due to female-based health issues majorly around infertility. This is coming from a hard place for me because I am facing a possibility that I might not have one of the things I've been looking forward to; children. These poems are an expression of how I feel. It is like a guttural scream that I've been trying to force down and unfortunately, this is my reality and a reality of some women. They include poems that range from the physical effects of having hormonal issues to the mental state that comes with the chemical imbalances. These poems aren't going to encourage you. They will however, give you something to relate to if you suffer from this. If you don't, these will give you a look into the internal pain of someone who does. I want you to be able to understand that even though your support matters a lot, it's a hard pill. We might not say these things out loud but we think them. No matter the encouragement people give, the reality of life still manages to strip that away and at the end of the night, you still think about it. I hope you are able to relate to me and just pray for some healing. Disclaimer; All images do not belong to the author. They are web-sourced and found from istock.com
