Basically a "The Little Mermaid" AU in the sonic franchise. I hope you enjoy this yeet-post of a fanfic I decided to write when I got way too bored. All of the characters rightfully belong to SEGA and the Sonic Team. Shadow will be gay and Infinite will be a biromantic asexual for plot purposes(if you don't know these terms, you can google them to clear out confusion). Shadow rebels against the infamous Black Arms by choosing to serve as the lone protector of the Space Colony ARK. One day, a fugitive accidentally teleports himself onto Shadow's territory. Lost and rejected, this unique former-mercenary captivates Shadow, inclining him to spare the villain's life. Ⓜ In what Sonic Universe would Infinite the Jackal and Shadow the Hedgehog EVER be friends? Following his defeat in Sonic Forces, Infinite uses the last of his powers to flee to another dimension. Having no control over his landing point, he unintentionally teleports to the Space Colony ARK, where he meets an alternate version of Shadow the Hedgehog. Surprisingly, the Ultimate Life Form takes a visceral liking to the misunderstood jackal.
