I'm a psychology major with a strong interest in how psychological concepts shape everyday thinking, behavior, and social interaction. I wrote this book to explain psychology the way I wish it were explained more often: clearly, responsibly, and without reducing people to diagnoses.
This book focuses on psychological concepts-such as cognitive patterns, belief systems, and social processes-rather than mental disorders. When technical language is used, I take the time to explain it, because understanding matters more than sounding impressive.
My goal isn't to tell you what's "wrong" with people, but to offer psychology as a framework for understanding how we think, react, and make meaning in the world.
