Aoi is an explorer who was exploring the amazon rainforest when she got chased into the ancient remains of what appeared to be a kingdom of some kind by giant monkeys. She is taken to the queen, who says that she and her kingdom have been cursed by a witch and have been for a very long time. She claims that Aoi is the only one who didn't seem intimidated by her, so she tells the monkeys to lead her to a room that was prepared for the curse breaker. Aoi doesn't understand what she means by 'curse breaker' until she gets involved in a whirlwind of things, including strange feelings for the queen surfacing, making friends with the ladies' maid and the royal advisor, and a long-time war between the Amazon Kingdom and Japan, where she came from. Now, she has to make a decision of whether to stay with Japan, or to stay with the Amazon Kingdom. Her choice decides who wins the war, and whether the Amazon Curse will be broken at long last or not.
