I'm a psychology major with a strong interest in how psychological concepts shape everyday thinking, behavior, and social interaction. I wrote this book to explain psychology the way I wish it were explained more often: clearly, responsibly, and without reducing people to diagnoses. This book focuses on psychological concepts-such as cognitive patterns, belief systems, and social processes-rather than mental disorders. When technical language is used, I take the time to explain it, because understanding matters more than sounding impressive. My goal isn't to tell you what's "wrong" with people, but to offer psychology as a framework for understanding how we think, react, and make meaning in the world.

February 4th, 1761, a girl named Ann was born to the Laran's in Pennsylvania. She grew up with her older brother, Nicholas, a boy that dreamed of fighting for her and the rest of his family. For all that Ann had known, her brother's dream had come true. On Nicholas' 16th birthday, he was accepted to become one of the first of General George Washington's soldiers. On Nicholas' nineteenth birthday, Ann's parents send Ann to Valley Forge to see her brother again after four years. One thing Ann didn't know, was that war was coming to Valley Forge. Such a coincidence; for Ann would be there to not just reunite with her older brother, but help him in mortal combat in a place Ann had never thought to call home.

What is an onomorph? Beyond the cosmos, a universe, famously named Nasza, has been a source of protection for all onomorphs. Onomorphs are wonderful, human-like creatures. But why do they trouble so many things? A group of onomorphs called Decenders try hard to take the crystals from the inner core of the beautiful planet, BelleX. BelleX has been desired for many years. Little did the Decenders know that their actions would have dire consequences for both BelleX and the onomorphs who called it home. A sixteen year old onomorph knows way more than any Decender can expect on such a young girl. When teamed up with other people who go to Zectroy High like, a boy she never thought could be a friend, and maybe some enemies who know more than she thinks, she can find out the truth of the planet she wanted to go to for years.
