Informental storie

Because my universe has abilities, I'd like to explain how it works. My universe isn't set in 2024, instead it's set in the 2100 range. The story is meant to be modern with a futuristic feel to it (Technology is more advanced for example). My universe has things in common with our modern world, however, many things are added, changed, and don't exist entirely. I realize that I don't explain this very well in my book, and I do plan to write it in The Hanging Tree, however, I can't get everything down in the same book, and there's no harm in writing it down like this. Also, I will sometimes talk about Angels and Demons, I am not religious in any way, and when talking about them (Unless stated otherwise) it is not meant to be linked to any religion.
