Ingo x Reader (Warning: this story contains spoilers from "Pokemon Legends: Arceus") Following Ingo's disapperance, you set off on an incredible journey to bring him back to Unova. I have gleaned inspiration for this Reader-Insert in three sources: the first one is the song "Lambency" by the artist Spectacle-P (featuring Hatsune Miku). The second one is two beautiful litterature works - "Night on the Galactic Railroad" by Kenji Miyazawa, as well as "Life is a Dream" by Pedro Calderón de la Barca. In the background, I have been listening non-stop to the album "Sora no Niwa" by Akino Arai. You will certainly notice the omnipresence of the lexical field of light and dream in all its forms... If you do not know them, I recommend you listen to/read them as their influence have helped me build an entire mood in this fanfiction! Please note the illustrations are mine. Enjoy!

Hiding all day, hiding all night. I'm used to it, it's life, I've been hiding since I was in the womb. We lay up in the attic of our one bedroom, one bathroom house, covered in sheets, blankets, installation, and garbage. It may sound gross but we need to hide. I lay with my five year old brother, Johnath, it's hard because he doesn't know that he needs to be quiet no matter the situation. My mother lays across the room, by herself, on the lookout. If someone is approaching the house we must run. But someone is coming for me, to take me away...I'm left alone, abandoned. Left to save us.

So our story begins on a normal day on her room, playing through her seventh copy of Pokémon Black 2 with her music blaring and her homemade plushies of them under her arms while she played on her 3DsXL. Then the unthinkable happens. She is transported INTO the game just before Nimbassa City, the home of the Subway Twins. She has her team from in the game and she is wearing her normal clothes but with Unovan flair. SHE WENT INTO THE GAME!!!!

This is Sarah Citrus, Galarian in blood, Alolan raised, and currently a Nimbasian resident with her father and their house full of dog type Pokemon. Sarah is a mute girl with a troubled past left behind in Alola, and a few to many scars that's left a bitter twist on her zesty but sweet personality. With her pack of Lycanrocs (and one lazy Rockruff) she's striving to move forward while finding a goal in life to chase.

Nothing mattered but the water. Digging my feet deeper into the sand, the cold waves falling back from the shore and pulling me in even more. I didn't need air anymore.
