Each clone is perfect. Or at least perfect in the way that the Republic wants them to be. Obedient and loyal, with no special attributes that make any of them stand out from the rest in the Grand Army of the Republic. And one by one they fall. But that doesn't matter, right? They are replaceable. But perfection doesn't come just like that. Someone has to make sure that no one behaves improperly. And so clones are created who know much more than they should. Clones who have the primary objective to maintain the structure of the GAR and eliminate anyone who does not oblige. Loyal and brainwashed by the Kaminoans, they are sent out into the galaxy. George Lucas/Disney own all the rights to the Star Wars universe, however, I do reserve the rights to my own characters and plot.

When Fives is on the run, Anakin is contacted by an investigator who believes Fives' allegations about Palpatine may be true. Anakin may not outright believe that, but he wants to look deeper, to know if there's more to the chips like Fives is saying. And he and Rex will do anything to keep Fives safe, even from the Republic.
