Gave him a second chance. But freedom was never part of the deal. As Gi-hun recovers, a strange life takes shape-one with whispered conversations, stolen touches, and a baby girl left behind by a fallen player. In-ho is cold, calculating, but never cruel. Not to Gi-hun. Not when he's his. Eventually, Gi-hun leaves for America, hoping to reclaim what little of his old life remains. But in a dim alleyway, he sees it again: a man being slapped. A red envelope. A familiar smile. The Game is everywhere. The Front Man is watching. And Gi-hun realizes the truth-he was never rescued. He was claimed. There's no escape from the Game. Not when the man who runs it is in love with you.
